34074 arrives at Upper Walmington with a special working hauling the 3rd class portion from the Golden arrow, which had arrived earlier at Folkestone, from London Victoria

the sound chip, although waiting better speakers to arrive, is most definitely superior to others i have heard. 4 different whistles, and a good base note. its not ear piercing white noise that i have heard on other steam loco chips.

the loco is my Hornby Light Pacific, 34074 from the Golden arrow train pack

The real loco was 34074 ’46 Squadron’
Built in Brighton Works in May 1948,
withdrawn in June 1963, at 15 years and 1 month old (not a long life for such a locomotive)

the chip is available from Charlie, at DC kits

my personal view is, like legomanbiffo’s chips that Charlie stocks for diesel locomotives, this range is the way to go for steam sounds. even though the selection is currently small, the range is expanding
