Dapol 7mm O gauge Terrier A1 and A1X class loco’s on a mixture of freight workings.
the locos are Stroudley A1 number 40 Brighton, and A1X 2644.
wagons are a mixture of slaters and parkside kits, a heavy metal LSWR wagon whose maker i do not know and also a SER-kits south eastern wagon. the Pillbox brakevan is Dapol, but there are some detail errors i would look at rectifying later, such as duckout shape and springs. the GW wagon is actually a LMS meat van, which the previous owner for some reason painted it in GW livery. the SECR brake was a wagon bought off eBay. lesson here is don’t! i have had to completely strip and rebuild it as the previous owner had no idea how to build kits. i then repainted it and weathered it heavily.
2644 was also weathered by me after adding the condensing pipes dapol didn’t fit, as carried by this loco in this livery.
40 Brighton, is still as Dapol made it.
the track is Peco’s new set track, and is very good as basic o gauge track goes. this was bought to play with as my loco’s are really for display, but it is nice to be able to get them out from time to time
