The three Metcalfe buildings are done. These low-relief card buildings have been customised by me to have different shop front. Sweeney Todd, Mrs Lovett’s Pie Shop, and the Tewn Bells pub (as frequented by Jack the Ripper victims).
I have placed them temporarily on Piddlewick Yard in the only spot available. It makes no sense but it more scenic than many other places I had to hand. Anyway I am just showing off the buildings. I have added people inside and printed backscenes within the buildings but you can hardly see anything.
I have also bought two small coaches and weathered these, as these are suitable and from the period. I also have a brake van with no steps. I will eventually get a Terrier to pull these in SB&SC colours, not an LNER J52 which is too recent for my 1890 layout called Terror St. I may well dispense with the brake van to keep the train shorter, as these coaches could have had a brake fitted.
