http://www.modelbuildings.org/restaurant-B429.html This quick video shows you how to construct a two story building for your model railroad town scene. This model building has a restaurant sign to attach but you could alter the wording if you want. You can also adjust the size to the scale of your choice (HO scale, OO gauge, N scale, Z scale) but simply adjusting the printer settings when you print out the PDF plan. Railroad model buildings like this can be assembled using scraps of old cardboard, core flute, or you can use foam core. They are surprisingly strong when assembled and look incredibly realistic as the building surfaces are already weathered to give the model buildings some age and authenticity.
I hope you find this model railroad buildings video helpful and I’m sure you’ll enjoy constructing it. I have it on my layout with model trains passing by in the foreground.
