This model railroad is dedicated to my father Fate Matthews. He enjoys anything railroad related.
The room floor space is roughly 9’x10′. Studs, 1.5″x2.5″x8′ were used to construct the table legs, and table frame. Plywood sheets, 5/8″ thick were used to construct the tabletop. A third of the tabletop is recycled plywood from a previous model train layout.
I also used wood shims to level uneven areas, and mostly woodscrews, and a few nails are used as fasteners. In addition, I used wood filler to cover screw holes, and cracks to smooth the table surface.
The table stands 4’5/8″ tall.
