As a hobby, I make HO scale model railroad background building (and sell them on eBay). A background building is not very deep, designed to be positioned against a backdrop or used as a view-block; anywhere the back of the structure cannot be seen.

Over the years I have sold hundreds of these buildings, some large, most small.

After a series of questions from the folks who have purchased one — or more (in some cases DOZENS) — of my buildings, I have made this series of four short videos. Each describes a part of the process: Assembly, Painting, Detailing and Weathering.

I am the first to admit they are NOT highly-polished productions.

Thanks for watching!
