Building a garden railway, gauge 3 hall visits another railway
The hall went for a visit to another garden railway this weekend, i took some wagons and the baby deltic too. The hall is starting to look complete, cab details, nameplates and lamp irons next. The drive system is working well now that i have re geared it for more torque and less top speed, it pulled 8 kingscale coaches no problem , which are very heavy at 8kg each, even though i had forgotten to put the lead weight back into the tender. The deltang radio with viper esc works well and is very smooth, i will replicate this combination in future locos.
