I placed a Go-Pro on the side of one of my big model trains and shot this video of the train running through my house and under the guest bed.
My first idea was to place a camera under the bed to capture the sight of the train coming through, but it was difficult to operate the camera when it was under the bed and the tight spaces made me nervous! So, using double-sided tape to attach my GoPro Hero 5 Session to the side of the train worked much better.
Placing the camera under the bed did create a funny clip to use at the beginning of the video, though!
The model train is a replica of the Santa Fe Super Chief, and it was made by LGB. It’s a model that they haven’t made in quite a few years, and they’re now very hard to come by. eBay is probably one of the few places where you can still sometimes find this particular model train.
The LGB model numbers of each piece of the train:
Locomotive A: 21576
Locomotive B: 21586
Passenger cars: 36570, 36571, 36580, 36590
