The Tuscarora Railroad started in 2005. The railroad consists of 300′ of AMS code 250 track and Sunset Valley switches, running in a double reverse loop around the edges of the backyard and patio. Trains are powered either by battery or live steam. The usual motive power consists of extensively scratch built, with the occasional kit bashed, Bachman car as well. Operations are based on the Shade Gap branch of the East Broad Top RR, which still survives today as a tourist operation in southern central Pennsylvania. I visited during the DGRS 2014 Summer Tour but I only made one of the five. For more info see & The Denver Garden Railway Society is also proud to host the National Garden Railway Convention July 6-11, 2015 A well documented build history of this fine Tuscarora Railroad is also online at
