It is a year since my last pilgrimage to David Turner’s railway and I was astonished at how the planting had grown and been developed. In fact it was so good that we only used one of his many superb buildings for this film and that was his recently scratch built engine shed. We did have a few problems with the wonderfully rustic permanent way, but the biggest problem was that I forgot that my transmitter interferes with this camera and causes a fearsome hum when they are close! That is the reason that the volume has been dropped back and music used to cover up any residual hum. Having said that I rather like the result. This film shows why I love the FX control so much and it even includes some of the local wildlife. And at the very end it shows I need to tighten up the cylinder end caps!!
