This video series, hosted by Michael Gross, will teach you the simple how-to workshop techniques you need to know to take an HO scale electric train set and make it a scenic model railroad. We’ll show you how to build a 4×8 model train table (benchwork) from plywood, lay sections of track, create easy realistic scenery using foam and paint, assemble model buildings, and wire your layout with a DC power pack. When youre done, youll have a railroad that operates well and looks real. Our techniques would work in N, O, S, G, or Z scale also. This video is scene 5, power pack how-to. Does this require wire feeding all over the track?

wileyk209zback says:

Yep, I finally upgraded to DCC and it works pretty well so far. I still need to upgrade some of my other locomotives with DCC decoders though 🙂

Manders Channel says:

So when using DCC, do you need a feeder?

wileyk209zback says:

My next control pack will probably be DCC. Since I would be a beginner to DCC, I plan to get the Bachmann E-Z Command train set, as it also has two locomotives so you can take advantage of the system.

Kyrc R.E. Ruly says:

@cubeproduktion It is, but Bachmann dcc is for begginers to dcc.

Jtag Sheep says:

the atlas dcc in this looks like a copy of lenz and a lenz 90 handste lol

FreshPrinceOfKnowledge says:

the only DCC system im familiar with is Hornby DCC and Bachmann DCC although I think Hornby's is Better.

trainiac12 says:

@TheFreedomtrain4449 DCC is like a rc car, on tracks, you usually want a double loop for DCC, so you should go with DC for this layout

Airsoftgamer98 says:

wat is the dcc system and wat would u reccomd for this layout

drumkid330 says:

@mimzor78 on a flipshare program.

drumkid330 says:

I'm not sure were you can find it but if you have a flip video camera and go to moviemaker it will be on there.
